My trip to Carlsbad was a lot of fun. We left on the morning of the 13th of July and got there to Carlsbad around 2ish if I remember correctly. So Zach and I unpack our stuff at the motel 6 we were staying at and take a nap. Then we headed over to my sisters campsite on the beach. So my nephew gets me to go longboarding with him and convinces me to go down this hill with him. So this longboard I was on, the trucks were really loose and as I was going down the hill it started to wobble really bad. It wobbled enough that I had to bail cause it would have just gotten worse. So I bailed from the board and got a nasty cut on my right foot like on the side of it near your pinky toe, top of the right elbow. But I survived and laughed at myself. So meanwhile others are at the campsite asking about what had happened and I told them, they too laughed. Anyways throughout our time at the beach we body surfed, skimboarded, kayaked on the ocean, and went snorkeling at La Jolla Cove. We also went to Coronado Island and had some amazing pizza one night. I took some amazing pictures of the sunsets there and they turned out really good. Here are some of them.
